Ohio's Fun Place to Race!!

The 2014 New Towne Mall Racecar Show, an annual event for Midvale Speedway, will be held this weekend, Friday, April 4-Sunday, April 6, in New Philadelphia, Ohio. In upwards of 30 cars will be on display in the Late Model, Economy Modified, Street Stock, Compact, and Mini-Truck divisions.
In addition to the Midvale Speedway weekly competitors, the Midvale Karting Series will have karts on display as well as information on their upcoming season. The Tuscarawas County Soap Box Derby will have a booth setup as well as the Twin State Auto Racing Fan Club. The Midvale Speedway booth will be located near the fountain area and will have the 2014 pocket schedules available for fans to pick up.
The car show leads up to the test and tune weekend on the 12th and 13th of the month, while the season opener is set for Saturday, April 19th. Work has been ongoing at the speedway in the offseason, replacing the fence that runs along the outside of the property, moving back the hillside in the pits to allow for longer rigs, and the biggest improvement, new restrooms for both the men and women.
The New Towne Mall will be open Friday and Saturday, April 4-5 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, April 6 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For more information on racing action at Midvale Speedway, check us out on the web at midvalespeedway.com.
